Making Bobbin Lace

Bobbin lace began in the 16th or 17th century. I've heard that hand made bobbin lace is still used for England's Royal weddings.

I like various textile arts. Occassionally, I work on bobbin lace. It's made with thread wound on bobbins which are twisted and crossed to form patterns on a pillow.
